If you are a geek and never heard of Lootcrate, you are missing out. Think of it as a geek-themed care package for less than an Andrew Jackson each month.
Which themes? So far I have seen dragons, gaming, villians and heroes with a galactic theme coming this month. Some come with custom t-shirts (one came with exclusive Deadpool socks!) and some even have other Lootcrate exclusives, like a special variant cover of Marvel Comics' Rocket Racoon #1 one month, and a fantastic Pop Vinyl exclusive Groot figure another month (see photo). But those aren't the only items that comes with it; other forms of geeky loot fill up the box each month.
Is it worth $20 a month? I think so. And if you haven't tried it I suggest doing it for one month and see for yourself. You can try it by following this link to go to Lootcrate's site to register. If you like it you can save a couple Washingtons by subscribing 3 or 6 months at a time.
